Last June I had the pleasure of being Sarah and Steven's wedding photographer. Everything about their wedding was utterly gorgeous! They'd planned and designed every last little detail to suit their style and rustic woodland theme.
Sarah wore a beautiful blush ivory wedding dress covered in lace and sparkles. To go with their woodland theme Sarah, her bridesmaids and the flower girls all wore flower crowns and clips, which worked perfectly and looked lovely!
Steven and his party all decided to go for a super smart long grey blazer with a pale teal coloured tie and pocket square, of course the colours were perfectly matched to the bridesmaids stunning floor length dresses!
Sarah and Steven had their woodland ceremony in the grounds of Ashridge estate, Hertfordshire. Their ceremony was intimate, relaxed and beautiful from start to finish. After the ceremony I took Sarah and Steven around the woodland for 20 minutes to get a few portraits of them both, I usually find these 20 minutes are the perfect chance for couples to relax and enjoy some time alone as a newly married couple!
Onto the reception! Sarah and Steven chose to have an afternoon tea themed reception at Albury Memorial Hall, Hertfordshire. The food was delicious! Infact the same catering company that did the food for Sarah and Steven's wedding also catered for Sarah's parents wedding!
I had such a lovely time photographing Sarah and Steven's wedding, thank you Sarah and Steven for having me as your wedding photographer!

Although Nottingham isn't usually an area I photograph in Emma & Ged approached me and asked me to be there wedding photographer! I love to travel to new places in and around the UK so I was more than happy to travel up to Nottingham to meet them both.
Seeing as I wasn't local to the area, I met with Ged & Emma at their home in Nottingham and they showed me around their village where their church ceremony was being held and then onto their amazing reception venue!
Although it got slightly wet and windy we still managed to get lots of lovely photos! Keep an eye out for Emma & Ged's wedding blog, coming soon.
Thank you Emma & Ged for having me as your wedding photographer.

Back in May I met with Gemma & Paul to practice some poses and get used to being in front of the camera. It was also the perfect time to meet up and get to know each other a bit more before their wedding in September!
We decided to meet at The Grove in the Watford, which provided the perfect backdrop for their photos. Gemma & Paul were super natural in front of the camera, as you can see from their photos below!
Thank you Gemma & Paul for choosing me as your wedding photographer.

I can't quite believe it was all the way back in July that Lauren & Ross got married!
At the beginning of the day I met the girls at Lauren's parents home in St Albans, which was super convenient seeing as it was only 5 minutes to their ceremony venue at St Michael's Church. Lauren and Ross chose a classy and elegant style to their wedding with lots of sparkles and glamour!
Lauren looked absolutely beautiful is her off the shoulder lace dress matched with her stunning Kurt Geiger shoes. Her bridesmaids wore blush pink, chiffon dresses to match their pastel pink bouquets!
Ross and his groomsmen looked pretty dapper in their grey suits with complimenting blush pink cravats.
Onto the party at Verulam Golf Club! One of the highlights were definitely the speeches, they had me laughing a lot behind the camera!
Thank you so much Lauren & Ross for having me as your photographer, I loved every minute!

Remember that SUPER hot day back in June? That was the day Emma & David got married!!
From start to finish Emma & David's wedding day was full of laughter, happiness and so much love. I met with Emma and her bridesmaids whilst they got ready, before they set off to the Holy Cross Church in Sarratt.
Emma & David chose a rustic and pastel coloured themed wedding which worked perfectly for their summer wedding! There were tonnes of tiny details from garden herb themed table plans to huge handmade floral bunting hanging all around their reception venue at Sarratt Village Hall.
It was so much fun celebrating Emma & David's special wedding day with them, thank you Emma & David for choosing me as your wedding photographer!
I loved Emma & David's wedding so much! From start to finish their day was full of so much fun, laughter and love..
Emma & David's ceremony was at the Holy Cross Church in Sarratt.. which is a gorgeous little church in the buckhamshire countryside which meant it was perfect for photos straight after their ceremony in a large open field close-by.
Onto the reception and wow! These two had done an incredible job of transforming their local village hall into stunning wedding reception, perfect for all of their many guests to eat, drink and of course dance!!
What a year! 2017 has by far been the busiest and most fun year of my life! I've photographed so many beautiful weddings, lots of lovely families & babies and had plenty of laughs photographing school head shots across the country and around the world!
My year started off with some school photography in Qatar with some of my closest work friends, it's such fun relaxing, exploring and taking in their local culture after a long day photographing huge international schools full of thousands of pupils!
Onto Singapore! This was the 3rd time i've had the chance to work in Singapore and every time I'm there, there's always something new to discover. It's honestly the most amazing country i've ever seen! I've never seen such an immaculate, modern and contemporary country surrounded in lush rainforests filled with wildlife.
Through the rest of the year I explored/worked in lots of countries that i'd never visited before such as Abu Dhabi, Amsterdam, Berlin, Luxembourg, and Madrid. Along the way i've met some amazing people and made some great friends!
Back to England to photograph all of your lovely weddings! 2017 has been the busiest year by far for weddings and i've loved every single one. 2018 is already looking super busy in the diary and i've already booked in a tonne more weddings than 2017. Here are just a few highlights from 2017 (although there are so many more!!)
Back at the beginning of the year I met with Carly & Ben to talk about their wedding plans, this was a great opportunity to get to know Carly & Ben and really understand what they'd like from their wedding photography. From hearing their plans I knew their wedding was going to be amazing! Their wedding venue was The Thythe Barn in Oxfordshire and it is utterly gorgeous!!
From start to finish they had the most beautiful weather, which complimented their amazing garden reception where guests would drink, chat and laugh A LOT! I'm so happy to have had the pleasure of photographing their amazing day, here are some highlights from their wedding day.
Thank you Carly & Ben for having me as your photographer!
At the beginning of the year I met with Lauren, Ross and their adorable little girl, daisy. We wandered round Verulanium Park in St Albans and practised a few different poses and along the way captured some lovely family shots! It was so lovely to meet Lauren & Ross before their wedding, it made it so much more relaxed and personal on their wedding day. Here are a few favourites from their pre wedding photoshoot! Where do I start with Sarah & Steven's GORGEOUS woodland wedding?!
There intimate wedding was set in a beautiful and quiet place in Ashridge Woods, along with perfect sunny weather!
There day was full of laughter, happiness and so so much love. From start to finish I don't think I saw either of them stop smiling.
Thank you Sarah & Steven for choosing me to be your wedding photographer, I thoroughly enjoyed capturing your wedding day!
